How do I find out how many children have a certain name?

Does anyone have a link? My friend wants to know how popular a fairly rare name actually is?

You can look them up for a particular year at (link is for 2012):

Just type any name in the box to see the rise and fall in popularity since 1996. It only goes as far as 2012 though.

You can use this:
names.darkgreener.com/

Type the name into the name box on the page - it brings up the graph with the % of all births in that year. You can then hover over the graph to get the actual number (sorry if link doesn't convert, on phone).
