Etta is my fave of those.

Universal · 08/05/2014 20:41

Etta - not a name I've heard but is absolutely beautiful. Very pretty but very strong. Congratulations.

Bowlersarm · 08/05/2014 20:42

Etta from me too. (It's sometimes shortened from Henrietta)

telsa · 08/05/2014 20:47

Etta, gorgeous. Next Pia.

mummy1973 · 08/05/2014 20:48

Etta

alita7 · 08/05/2014 21:04

petra

PickledSprout · 08/05/2014 21:06

Thanks for the replies. DH and I could only agree on one name for DD1 so was starting to panic that the next child would be nameless but we suddenly seen to have a short list which is a surprise and a relief!

Anja, are you pronouncing it an-ya?

If so definately anja

NationMcKinley · 08/05/2014 21:35

Anja (if pronounced Anya) for me too. Gorgeous name

PickledSprout · 08/05/2014 21:41

Yes pronounced like that. I think there is a variation in spelling depending on country. I think!

If Anja pronounced Anya, love it.

Not so keen on Pia unless you are religious or living abroad as here she will be teased that she is Pee-er. Quite like Petra, though sounds like the blue peter sheep dog of years gone by. prefer Peta or Petrova.

Etta nice as shortened form of Henrietta.

WestEast · 08/05/2014 21:44

Pia, I knew a lovely Danish lady called Pia. Beautiful name.

crankypants · 08/05/2014 21:51

I like them all except for Petra.

Maybe Anja or Etta best?

Lovely names! Congratulations!

Endymion · 08/05/2014 21:54

I like Anja and Petra.

Not keen on Etta.

Don't like pia at all. Sorry.

manicinsomniac · 08/05/2014 21:59

I really like Anja and Etta

Petra is okay. Not keen on Pia

weatherall · 08/05/2014 23:18

I really like Anya.

Others ok.

Gugglebum · 09/05/2014 00:44

I like, in order from most to least:
Petra
Anja
Etta

Pia

Graciejoylove8 · 09/05/2014 05:31

Etta
I know only one; Etta Joy. Think it's lovely!

I like Anja too .

Dovahkiin · 09/05/2014 05:53

I like Etta and Anja, though prefer the 'Ania' spelling.

Busymumto3dc · 09/05/2014 06:02

Etta is lovely

WhereHas1999DissappearedToo · 09/05/2014 06:08

I LOVE Petra, gorgeous name. It was the name of DD's best friend at crèche, but we moved and they haven't been able to get in touch since, but she was a lovely girl.

lanbro · 09/05/2014 06:36

Love Anja, my lo is Alanya!

AWombWithoutARoof · 09/05/2014 11:35

Etta is lovely, but it makes me think of ETA. And also maybe it wouldn't be suitable for a fat child, where I'm from the past tense of 'eat' is pronounced 'ett', as in "she etta pie".
