William nn Billy. Need middle name. x

Baby boy is due in 3 weeks and going to be Billy but registered William to give him more choices when he is older. Need a middle name I think something short maybe due to william and surname been quite long. Surname starts R. Easy to find middle names for william but then if put with Billy some dont work for obvious reasons. Billy Elliot etc. Any ideas x

You don't 'need' a middle name OP - why not just go with William and be done? It's a lovely, strong name and is fine as a standalone.

My brother is William Anthony. But he's not a billy so don't know if that works.

Thank u. My little girl likes William Isaac. Just worried ifhe sticks with Billy that Billy Isaac doesn't sound right.Oooh why is this so hard lol. Girls names were far easier for us x

It won't be popular but I actually really like the kind of redneck Billy done in a totally non redneck way like Green Day's Billy Joe. Billy Ray, Billy Joel, Billy Bob... all of that. But it is kind of the male equivallent of the trailer trash Jo after a girl's name - Chloe Jo, Britney Jo, Candi Jo, Kimmie Jo...

Just be aware that if you choose something that starts with an O or J or he'll be tortured for being called B.O. or BJ.
