What do you think? For a dd btw I know it's probably a bit of a marmite name! It's short and quirky which we like (we are more than likely going to end up with something a little "off centre" iykwim

It also goes well with our ds name.

We also like India but it is already used by a classmate of ds, plus I feel like it would be weird when we don't have any connections to the country and never been there

Great name. Prefer it to India & Indira but also love Inigo & Indigo

I have to say I'm surprised I have had so many positive responses re the name. I was certain it was going to be flames (though I probably jinxing it now and the haters will be along shortly )

I am really warming to it myself, and my dh loves it as does my dm however my 8 year old ds is not impressed and told me I should pick Fleur. Even though he boaked at that not too long ago!

I know a little Indie whose full name is Indiana. She is adorable and the name suits her.

I also like the other names people have mentioned. If I were going to use it I think I'd choose Indigo or Indira.

I really love Indie and wished I'd been brave enough to use it.

I would always hear it as short for "independent" eg indie music.
