Duncan or Alasdair?

Which name do you prefer - Duncan or Alasdair?

Duncan - cool, strong, underused and easy to spell.

Alistair, Alastair, Alasdsair, Alisdair sounds feminine (Alice?) and people might misspell it.

Both great names-but my edge goes to Alasdair.

Love Alasdair.
Duncan's ok but maybe a bit staid.

Don't like gaelic spellings so Alastair or Alistair is better in my opinion.

Both are quite old-fashioned and uncommon nowadays but make a nice name from the daft names most kids seem to be called

I have a Duncan! I love it, he goes by nn Dunc or sometimes Funky Dunky

Do expect Duncan Donuts, Duncan Disorderly....
