Please could you tell me which of the above you like the most? Thank you!

Beatrice, but all three are nice. I know a Delphine who is lovely (in her 50s). Rosalie makes me think of the Chalet School books.

AwfulMaureen · 20/04/2014 20:47

Delphine is SO pretty. Rosalie will probably become Rose or Rosie....Beatrice is nice...will become Bea....Delphine is very pretty.....might become Delph or Elf.....or Delphie....but I still prefer it.

Winnie101 · 20/04/2014 20:49

Thanks for the answers so far. I really like the nn options for Rosalie and Beatrice but I'm not so sure about shortened versions of Delphine...

Delphine. Beautiful. I've never met one, and in my head the emphasis is on the Del, is that right?

AllMimsyWereTheBorogroves · 20/04/2014 20:50

The one I know has a slight stress on the Del, yes.

LunaOnTheBrooma · 20/04/2014 20:51

Love Delphine. Could become Della?

AwfulMaureen · 20/04/2014 20:52

Oh pick Delphine....if anyone calls her Del you can slap them. Grin

Doilooklikeatourist · 20/04/2014 20:55

All lovely names , Delphine is the best choice IMHO

crankypants · 20/04/2014 20:55

Love, love, love Beatrice.

RobinSparkles · 20/04/2014 20:59

I can't decide between Rosalie or Beatrice. Both are beautiful . If it were me I'd probably go for Rosalie and call her Rosie or Rosa for short.

Delphine just makes me think of Delphine Donkey Blush.

Winnie101 · 20/04/2014 21:02

Oh first baby so I didn't know about Delphine Donkey! Thanks for that!

All divine. Slight preference for Beatrice.

I also like other Rosa- names Rosalind and Rosamund.

Fi from Delphine, surely. Fifi seems inevitable.

Winnie101 · 20/04/2014 21:08

Ruthless - you're right, it would be Fifi.

Marcipex · 20/04/2014 21:09

Delphine.

MadameJosephine · 20/04/2014 21:10

I prefer Beatrice, not keen on Delphine and I'm never sure how to pronounce Rosalie (is it roz-a-lee or Rose-a-lee?)

RobinSparkles · 20/04/2014 21:10

I don't think everyone would think Delphine Donkey, TBH. It's probably just me!

AreWeThereYeti · 20/04/2014 21:10

Delphine - I love it

Winnie101 · 20/04/2014 21:11

MadameJosephine - I'm thinking of Rosalie as Rose-a-lee.

They are all lovely, you can't go wrong with any of them.

magentasurprise · 20/04/2014 21:57

I like all of them.

Delphine is my favourite. Not keen on the potential nick names though.

Rosalie is v pretty. I think Rosa is my favourite "Rose' name.

Beatrice is v pretty, also Beatrix.

Spottybra · 20/04/2014 21:59

Rosalie

Clarabum · 20/04/2014 22:03

Delphine!

MountainGoatee · 20/04/2014 22:06

Delphinus is lovely, so long as you're not planning to live in a German speaking country as it sounds like the German for Dolphin. Rosalie is lovely too. I'm slightly less keen on Beatrice because of the royal connection, and because I don't like the nickname Bea.

MountainGoatee · 20/04/2014 22:07

Not Delphinus! Delphine. Flipping iPad.

CaipirinhasAllRound · 20/04/2014 22:14

Hate Delphine, sorry. I know of one and I always think of Only Fools and Horses (know that is Marlene though)
