What do you think? Will people hear it and assume "nosy parker" and would said child likely to be nicknamed "nosy parker"?

Liberty Grin

Don't like it at all. I think parker pens. It's dire.

Isn't it the name of Frankie Sandford's son off The Saturdays. I like it for a girl but not for a boy.

Dr Two that made me sob with laughter ("fetching the rolls") Sorry op....

You see I like the name and I don't like it at the same time. Hmm

I don't like some of the associations that go along with it (nosy parker, thunderbirds, parker pens) but I do like it otherwise but I'm afraid a child would have the piss taken out of them.

I misread it for porker.

so no

I mentioned it to DH. He thought I meant Parka, ad wondered why someone would name their child after a mod anorak?
So:Parker from Thunderbirds , Parker Knoll, Parker Pens ,A nosey Parker, A porker Parker, or "is Parker wearing a Parka"? It isn't looking good op.
