Pronunciation help please!

How would you pronounce Recs?

If not Rex then Retch (hungarian cs). No idea if that's a hungarian name, but Retch isn't a very nice name for a child in an english speaking country...

Abbreviations for renewable energy certificates, recommendations, reclamation yards or recreation grounds. All Rex sounding.

Unless you live in deepest darkest Wales then it's going to look like an affectation.

Rex is fine. Reece is fine.

Recs just looks stupid and like you can't spell.

It's a feminine form of Reece according to a friend....yes, I'm confused too!

Well I wasn't expecting that OP. Feminine Reece would be Reese as in Witherspoon I would have thought. Recs - just awful.
