How would you pronounce Recs?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

If not Rex then Retch (hungarian cs). No idea if that's a hungarian name, but Retch isn't a very nice name for a child in an english speaking country...

FrankUnderwood · 14/04/2014 15:55

Abbreviations for renewable energy certificates, recommendations, reclamation yards or recreation grounds. All Rex sounding.

HauntedNoddyCar · 14/04/2014 16:01

Unless you live in deepest darkest Wales then it's going to look like an affectation.

KnickyKnacky · 14/04/2014 18:52

Rex is fine. Reece is fine.

Recs just looks stupid and like you can't spell.

guineapig1 · 14/04/2014 18:58

Haunted, I think even in here in deepest darkest wales it is a definite no!

Didanyoneordermeaplaincheese · 14/04/2014 19:06

Thanks all- helpful indeed.....and also a little entertaining!

Well tell us what it's about . Please.

Didanyoneordermeaplaincheese · 14/04/2014 21:55

It's a feminine form of Reece according to a friend....yes, I'm confused too!

OP posts:
Bowlersarm · 14/04/2014 22:03

Well I wasn't expecting that OP. Feminine Reece would be Reese as in Witherspoon I would have thought. Recs - just awful.

Morgause · 15/04/2014 13:34

Your friend is deluded, OP.

Choccyhobnob · 15/04/2014 14:10

Oh dear OP!

fideline · 15/04/2014 14:31

It's certainly imaginative...

HauntedNoddyCar · 15/04/2014 21:58

Well that's a whole lifetime of confusion bestowed in 4 letters. Quite an achievement.
