I'm posting on behalf of a friend who is about to burst with her 2nd baby. She has a boy, Rupert, and is expecting a girl. Her two favourite girls names are Coralie and Rosalie but both are off limits so she is in need of suggestions. Any ideas oh wise mners?

PS tell your friend she has great taste IMO :) both her names are on our shortlist for future DDs, and DD1's name has been listed above.

PPS Lorelei has been suggested by a couple of posters (another awesome name) - but note it's spelt 'Lorelei' not 'Lorelie' or 'Lorelai'

DessieLou · 09/04/2014 19:34

I wondered about the spelling, peppinagiro. Lorelei looks nicer, don't you think? Smile
We have very similar taste so i shall be stealing whatever she doesn't use!
She has put Lorelei on the list. Annelise & Cordelia were already there.
Thanks again everyone. You just end up going round in circles don't you?! Good to get some fresh perspective. Smile

I think Lorelei looks lovely. But I do love French '-ie' names too. Good luck to your friend with choosing!
