Marcella or Stella?

That's it really. We have one boy's name which we are set on, but undecided on girl's name. Have two other DDs. Both Marcella and Stella work well with our other daughters' names.

Both nice names. I slightly prefer Marcella - its softer and Marcy is a cute nickname.

I've heard MarCHella. Ive heard people ask, "Is it MarSella or MarCHella?"

I have one, you see. I've no connection to Catholicism, the Irish or Ireland so I'd never heard the name before but we are part French so to me its sounded similar to Marcelle, which is DPs grandmothers name but a little more feminine.

Its a beautiful name for a strong girl and will never date.
