Girls name for siblings Ava and Lily?

vintagechic1975 · 01/04/2014 18:46

I have one week to go and cannot think of a name that will 'go' with older siblings Ava and Lily. I am starting to panic!

I do not want anything beginning with A or L, or another flower name.

So far I have thought of:
Erin
Darcey
Flora
Florence
Silvie
Pearl
Greta
Ellen
Ruby
Emmy
Sadie

Do any of these 'go'?? Or any other suggestions? Help!

I like Erin and Darcey out of your list and think they go quite well with sibs names.

I'd avoid Flora if you don't want to use another flower name due to its floral connections!

My favourite from your list would be Erin.

KateShmate · 01/04/2014 19:23

First name that comes to mind for me is Sophia - I think it goes beautifully :)

WhenDoISleep · 01/04/2014 19:33

Erin is pretty.

How about Eden?

vintagechic1975 · 01/04/2014 19:42

KateShmate ooh Sophia is lovely, thank you, I had not thought of that, I will add that too my list, and delete Flora nasara you are right it is too floral with Lily, I had not noticed that connection. It seems Erin is a winner from my list, so so far I have Sophia and Erin on my maybe list. Keep them coming!!

Eve
Eloise
Ivy

I also like Erin and Darcey best out of your list.

Alisvolatpropiis · 01/04/2014 20:41

Mia

Alisvolatpropiis · 01/04/2014 20:42

I think Ruby and Sadie from your list go well also.

ancientbuchanan · 01/04/2014 20:49

Margot
Ellen
Sara
Ermine
Bette
Carmel
Dora
Fran
Georgia
Harriet
Martha

But all of your names would be fine, though I'm not a Darcey fan.

LunaOnTheBrooma · 01/04/2014 20:52

I think Pearl fits both style and sound-wise. I also like Darcey. I wonder if Erin doesn't sound quite as pretty as her sisters' names. Sophia is also lovely.

Surf25 · 01/04/2014 20:57

First name that came into my head was also...Sophia!
Thinking what I might call a dd3..
How about Naomi or Cora or Eliza?
Or Juliet or Bethany?

Tea1Sugar · 01/04/2014 21:02

Chloe
Megan
Sophia
Ruby
Grace

I would choose a name that didn't have an 'a' or 'y'/'ie' sound at the end so she's also different to the other two.

Pearl and Margot are my favourites from the lists so far, think Florence is a bit long compared to the other two. Sounds like Erin is popular with others too.

Thetimes123 · 01/04/2014 21:18

Erin, Sophia, grace all lovely

mathanxiety · 01/04/2014 22:59

I love Greta, Sylvie and Ellen from your list -- I think they blend really well with Ava and Lily (sweet names). Sophia is gorgeous too.

Pearl, Ruby or Florence.

PumpingRSI · 02/04/2014 14:53

how about Esme?

WonderOfYou · 02/04/2014 15:52

My DDs are A v a, S o p h i a and T e s s a (T e s s), so it's interesting to see quite a few posts saying the first two names go together well. I see mathanxiety has also suggested T e s s, so thought I'd add my vote for one of these! You have some lovely names on your list, I especially like Pearl and Sadie. I also like Georgia and Mia suggested on here. Good luck for next week.

Rtfairy · 02/04/2014 16:42

From your list I like Florence and Ruby.

How about Isobel? Ava, Lily and Isobel.

WowserBowser · 02/04/2014 16:48
