A silly thing to worry about?

So DH and I were chatting earlier and I said how I'd be anxious about name choices that could be difficult for someone with a speech impediment. DH likes Rory, but what if he is unable to say his R's?? Jonathan Woss style? That goes for any R name really.
And what if you have a lisp and have a name with an S? That would be pretty annoying.

I know I'm being a bit silly and I'm not saying I am ruling out all R and S names lol but does anyone else ever think like this?? Or am I a bit OTT? lol

My DH ruled out my favoured name Reuben on this basis, we have a R surname, he said it would be awful to be called Weuben W.......

I think it's a valid concern. I'm not even sure I can pronounce Rory very well.

It's also the kind of thinking that put me off Cecily.

I knew this guy once, he was a news reporter who had worked all over the world. He told me that not being able to say 'R's' is peculiar to the English. I have always wondered why...

I do know a Rory though who went out with a Vietnamese girl, her family couldn't get to grips with the 'R's' at all and pronounced it as Lolly. But how can you predict such a thing!
