There must be a middle name for Phoebe?

Think we've decided on Phoebe for our baby girl, however am REALLY struggling with middle names.

I tend to like names ending in y / ie sounds but don't like them with a first name with the same ending sound.
I think names with 3/4 syllables ending with an a sound go nicely with Phoebe but can't find one that seems right.

My other problem is I am using June as a 2nd middle name - after my nan, so 1 syllable names don't really work.

Think Phoebe Rose is beautiful, but Rose June is odd.
Like Phoebe Olivia/Amelia June - but not in love with either.
Like the name Emily but don't think Phoebe Emily works Confused

Please help me find a middle name I love there must be a name out there I havnt thought of.

Thank you

I have a Phoebe and think shorter names work well, mine is Phoebe Ann (was going to be Phoebe Ann Louisa but DH vetoed a second middle name.)

I would put the June first then a longer second middle name.

I was going to use Iris, before I noticed that Phoebe rhymes with existing dd's name.

Rosanna
Jennifer
Eleanor
Emilia (biased!)
Samantha
Claudia
Olivia
Alicia/Alissia
Alexia

Hmm think they suffice your criteria but I'll keep thinking!

With June I think it should have a few syllables

Alexandra
Aurelia
Emilia
Portia
Audrina
Gabriella
Octavia

I think Phoebe June sounds absolutely beautiful on its own.

What about

Phoebe Elizabeth June
Phoebe Ophelia June
Phoebe Emilia June
Phoebe Eleanor June
Phoebe Alice June
Phoebe Elora June
Phoebe Isla June
Phoebe Orla June
Phoebe Lydia June
Phoebe Eliza June
Phoebe Aletheia June

Or, if you want a Rose name

Phoebe Rosalyn June
Phoebe Rosamund June
Phoebe Rosa June

Ooh I am getting into this. Anything there?

steppemum · 26/03/2014 21:33

I think 2 short names has the rhythm of a longer name
eg
Phoebe June Rose
Phoebe June Alice

OldRoan · 26/03/2014 21:34

Larissa
Sophia
Camilla

Doesn't end in -a, but I know a Phoebe Catherine which I think is lovely.

I would just go for Phoebe June- it's sweet and quirky, I like it!

justhayley · 26/03/2014 22:19

Thanks ladies.
Quite like the idea of using June first then another middle name - don't know why Iv never thought of that lol.
Guess then I could use names I love like
Phoebe June Daisy??
Phoebe June Emily???

I'm struggling as if im honest I don't really like the name June, but as it's my Nan's name & my 1st daughter really want to use it

Phoebe Isabella June
Phoebe Rosalyn June mentioned above is also lovely.

momb · 26/03/2014 22:24

I think that Phoebe June is really pretty and with an obvious nod to family/tradition. It really doesn't need anything else.

Innogen · 26/03/2014 22:45

My 19 year old sister is Phoebe Grace :)

cityangel · 26/03/2014 22:50

Phoebe Kay June
Phoebe Elin June
Phoebe Seren June
Phoebe Imogen June

hunreeeal · 26/03/2014 22:54

Do you like Juno? The month of June was named after the goddess Juno so it's a nice related name Smile

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 27/03/2014 01:39

Phoebe Arianna June?

The only little Phoebe I know is Phoebe Caroline, which sounds quite nice but may be a little 'clunky' when you add June IYSWIM. Phoebe Caroline June?

Personally I would go for something like Arianna, Arabella, Annabella as the joining-word between Phoebe and June (although I must admit that Phoebe June does sound pretty cute all on it's own Grin).

Missingcaffeine · 27/03/2014 09:32

I like Phoebe Rosalyn June

ldt87 · 27/03/2014 09:36

Louise or Louisa sprung to mind when I saw the title?

Jinty64 · 27/03/2014 09:45

I agree with hunreeeal Phoebe Juno is fabulous.

Ludways · 27/03/2014 09:56

I know a Phoebe Rose, I think that's nice.

ElviraPink · 27/03/2014 10:13
