dd2 is due by cs in 11 days and is still nameless! she was ava for ages but dh isnt keen. apart from maureen Angry the only other names are evelyn and anna. im not keen on evelyn really but I do really like anna (Ive been saying annie for weeks and hes never once said anna!)

our dd1 is emily elizabeth

would it be ok to have just anna? not too keen on annabel. is there many other names anna can be short for?

any other suggestions for simular names and also middlenames? surname begins with r if that makes any difference

thank you!

Love the name Anna.

I have one, it's lovely - she's just Anna. It's a lot more popular where I live than it seems to be on MN. I have another daughter with the ever popular O name Smile & we know far more Annas.

I also posted on here yesterday about the name Anna which we are thinking of for DD1 & there were positive responses. She was Eva for ages but I think we've decided it's too popular along with Ava & Evie.

Hope everything goes well for your c-section.

Anna. Classic, feminine and classy.

I am an Anna, so biased but was only one in my year at school which was nice, still don't come across many but enough that it's not a unusual name.
Just to say, my sister is called Emily! Both fab names ;)

Anna is stunning, classic, timeless and oh so elegant.

Unfortunately it sounded ridiculous with our surname. You must use it :)
