Is this to be played like the 'good pair' thread, or just any bad pair? [dense]

Rachel and Ross
I once heard a woman calling out these to her two young children, and wondered if she was aware of the connection.

Arnold and Chiara

DH is Italian, we both work within neuroscience, and so when we discovered we were having twins, the jokes were just flying amongst our colleagues.

Oddly enough, we actually used one of them.

John and Lewis

GimmeDaBoobehz · 22/03/2014 13:35

Bill and Ben
John and Lewis
Matt and Alan (Matalan? OK, OK not quite as obvious as the one above)
Bonnie & Clyde
Will & Kate (as they'll be presumed to be mega royalists, not because it's a bad name as I think they are both lovely names).

Most alliterative names really especially if the second letter is also the same so for example

Sarah and Samuel
Stella and Stanley
Jason and Jasmine
Arthur and Arianna

I think I got a little bit deep in there, didn't I?

Anything that is the masculine/feminine versions of a name eg:
Andrew and Andrea
Daniel and Daniella
Paul and Paula
Samuel and Samantha

Anything that rhymes eg:
Sam and Pam
Janine and Colleen
Ella and Bella
Eve and Steve

Any 'famous' pairs eg:
Mary-Kate and Ashley
Harry and Sally
Rosie and Jim
Bert and Ernie

Anything very 'matchy' eg:
Ruby and Sapphire
April and June
Daisy and Poppy
Cherry and Strawberry
Phoenix and Robin

Anything that is a variant of the same name eg:
Isabel and Isabella
Alfie and Alfred
Evie and Eve
Ava and Eva

And anything that creates a jarring difference in terms of crossing sterotpyped 'categories' of names eg:
Araminta and Tyler
Hugo and Keeley
Florence and Dexter
Frederick and Bailie-Rae
