How does this sound to you? I keep coming back to this combination but just wondering how it sounds to other people. Thanks!

My middle names (in that order). Sounds perfect to me!

TheWoollybacksWife · 19/03/2014 14:21

It is a lovely combination. Smile Frances is really pretty and in my opinion it is underused.

It only sounds a little strange to me as they are my DSis names but the other way around IYSWIM.

meditrina · 19/03/2014 14:25

I'm not personally that keen on Frances, but I think this combination works fine.

squoosh · 19/03/2014 14:44

I really like Frances.

Not too frilly, not too clunky.

rosielea · 19/03/2014 15:33

Thanks all, there are other names i dally with but keep coming back to this!

Oh I just love Frances Elizabeth, OP! Absolutely beautiful.

Wishfulmakeupping · 19/03/2014 15:36

Beautiful :)

grendel · 19/03/2014 15:38

Really lovely pair of names.

Mrsindecision · 19/03/2014 15:39

The name Frances is fine, but I dislike the nn Fran. Elizabeth makes an excellent middle name.

chattychattyboomba · 19/03/2014 15:54

Really nice, but I must say, it depends on your accent. I would say Frances like dance, France, chance (like the a in 'far' not the a in 'Apple'). The nn 'Fran' I'm not to keen on either (it's the 'a' sound)

squoosh · 19/03/2014 15:56

Well I happen to think it also sounds nice in my accent which pronounces the a in Frances likes the a in 'apple'.

HenriettaMaria · 19/03/2014 19:25

Lovely names. DD1 is Elizabeth Frances - but I think it works just as well the other way round.

Ilikepancakes · 19/03/2014 19:28

I like it.

Tiredtomybones · 19/03/2014 22:39

Lovely. I've loved Frances since I first saw Dirty Dancing many, many years ago.

mouseling · 19/03/2014 22:43

My daughter's middle name is Frances. I love it; unfortunately she does not share the love..

flipflopsonfifthavenue · 21/03/2014 08:08

Lovely.
I'm pg and if its DD she's going to be Francesca Jane, but only because DP didn't go for Frances!

Sundaedelight · 21/03/2014 19:04

A superb, classic name. Gorgeous.

Delphiniumsblue · 21/03/2014 19:10

Lovely!

legoplayingmumsunite · 21/03/2014 19:11

Think you've got the MN seal of approval. Both good names, lovely together.

Tallypet · 21/03/2014 19:48

Beautiful name

OscarWinningActress · 21/03/2014 19:52

So, so pretty. Classic and feminine. My SIL is a Frances and she's one of the most formidable women I know.

WiggleGinger · 23/03/2014 21:47

Beautiful names!
Dd1 has Frances as her middle names & if bump is another girl then her middle name will be Elizabeth.
Fabulous choices xxx

mathanxiety · 24/03/2014 03:56

Beautiful imo. Frances is the MN of one DD of mine.

I know someone with these names (in that order!) - one of my oldest friends. Lovely choice!
