Jasper, Ezra or Silas, which do you prefer?

Really like these three names and wondered if others would too!

Jasper has been my longtime favourite!

Not a fan of any, sorry. Silas if you must. Jasper is definitely the most likely you'll hear for other children.

Ezra

Love Jasper and Ezra, don't like Silas (sounds a bit slimy, and was the first name of Baron Silas Greenback, of Dangermouse fame).

Def not silas - isn't that the mad monk out of the da vinci code?!

Ezra is such a great name! Wanted it for DS1 & DS2 but DH has a silly 'nothing from the bible' rule.

Jasper I really like too, although I prefer Caspar. Obviously very similar but I guess I would prefer the nn Cas to Jas.

Silas ... I'm not a fan. Sounds like silage and for some reason sounds to me like the name of someone sneaky. I have no clue why. And this is of no help to you.

Ezra, Ezra, Ezra! Amazing name.

Jasper is good.
Silas makes me think of farm waste.

Jasper and Ezra are lovely. Silas is awful.

In order of preference: Ezra, Jasper, and then lagging far behind, Silas.

Love all 3. Silas Marner was my favourite literature text at school. I think Ezra just sneaks ahead for me (Vampire Weekend fan) but I do adore Jasper too only I would have to avoid as is the name of friend's dog unfortunately

We were going to use Ezra, so it's Ezzie/Ezra all the way for me.
