Girls list too cutesy with dd Molly?

I have a dd named Molly, the below names are on the short list for possible dc2. Do any of them go with ok Molly? Or are they too cutesy together?

Annie
Callie
Carrie
Lily
Alexa nn Allie

Other options are Sophia, Leah and Maya (although not sure about both having same initial)

General opinions on the list also welcome :)

Definitely not Callie, Lily or Allie. The double L sound makes them sound matchy matchy with Molly.

Annie is gorgeous. Not keen on Carrie.

Cuxibamba · 03/03/2014 16:47

I think Callie and Lily don't work well. I like Alexa as it means her full name doesn't have the same ending as Molly.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 03/03/2014 16:48

Deffo not another name with 'L's, and deffo not Molly and Maya imvho.

Molly and Cassie?

Molly and Naomi?
Molly and Louisa?
Molly and Clara?
Molly and Helena?
Molly and Harriet (you could go with Hatty as nn)
Molly and Hester (Hetty)

Like Carrie but what about Carrieanne or Cariad to make it more grown up?

Driveway · 03/03/2014 16:58

Molly and Allie are far too similar! And Callie and Lily.
And probably Carrie.

In fact, can you cross off all two syllable names ending in a "y" sound and come back with a new list?

Love Annie Smile

winterhat · 03/03/2014 19:05

Annie or Sophia would be nice. I like Maya too, but not with Molly.

MyNameIsKenAdams · 03/03/2014 19:07

I would avoid an "eee" sound tbh.

Molly and Charlotte
Molly and Bethan

Oubliette0292 · 03/03/2014 19:10

I like Annie too.

Driveway · 03/03/2014 19:14

With Molly I'd go for Anya over Annie.

ToffeeJungle · 03/03/2014 20:00

Not sure Id go for anything with an L sound in and/or ending in y/ie either.

I know a Molly and Abigail.

Anya
Thea
Freya
Bethan
Seren
Cara / Cora
Lydia
Erin
Rachel
Jessica
Isla

Thanks everyone.

Definitely going to keep Annie on the list and probably Carrie too.

I was worried about them being too cutesy but agree that actually the double ll names are probably too matchy

Really like the suggestions of Louisa, Harriet nn Hattie, Lydia and Clara :)

I have a Holly who has a sister called Abigail. If dc3 I'd dd3 we are considering Freya, Flora and Cara.

pommedeterre · 17/03/2014 19:00

I'd = is

YouGrateMyCheese · 18/03/2014 15:25

I know sisters named Molly and Allie. (Allie is short for Allison.) They sound fine together. There's also another sister named Alexandra, nicknamed Alex. Although they're not to my taste, they somehow all work.

soontobeslendergirl · 18/03/2014 20:37

What about Molly and Anna instead?
