We have decided our baby will be called this if its a boy but can't decide how to spell it. Any thoughts?

Jackson every time, Jaxon isn't a good idea IMO

PenguinsEatSpinach · 27/02/2014 13:27

Jackson. Definitely.

I would be Confused at Jaxon. Would wonder if it was pronounced Jack-on or something. I think it's an awful spelling. Sorry.

Highlystrungmum · 27/02/2014 20:19

Onesleeptilwembley, I didn't realise I asked for your opinion on the name, just the spelling would have been fine thank you.
Thanks everyone else for your opinions, I happen to agree with you all but was just checking before deciding. Now to find out if its a boy, only 2 weeks to go:-)

How about Djaaksen.

LeslieKnope · 27/02/2014 20:22

Another HELL NO to Jaxon. It's hideous.

Jackson is nice Smile

Good luck with your scan OP - mine is next week and I'm really tempted to find out the sex this time!! Didn't even consider it with DD. How weird!

Highlystrungmum · 27/02/2014 20:33

Ooh how exciting - good luck!

BorisJohnsonsHair · 27/02/2014 20:38

Jackson.

FabBakerGirl · 27/02/2014 20:39

If you say both as they are spelt they are 2 different names anyway so definitely trying too hard if you want Jaxon to sound like Jackson.

Kri5ty · 27/02/2014 21:24

We were going for Jax originally, but everyone Itold thought I said Jack.

If you're not naming him jaxon (to be called jax); I'd go for Jackson

RonaldMcDonald · 27/02/2014 21:25

Jaxon is hilarious

EirikurNoromaour · 27/02/2014 22:33

Lol at jaxon. It's so bad. Jackson is quite cool.

YouAreTalkingRubbish · 27/02/2014 22:47

Yet another vote for Jackson, just in case you were not sure Grin

Congrats on Jackson/highlystrung girl Thanks

Highlystrungmum · 28/02/2014 10:01

If it is between these two, then Jackson definitely.

Thiscarisreversing · 01/03/2014 06:53

I would officially call him Jackson but use the pet nick name jaxs

Anjou · 01/03/2014 16:44

Definitely Jackson. I met a Jacksson the other day- yes, that is how he spells it. I'm hoping that this is how it's actually spelled in Denmark or somewhere rather than it just being the case that his dad is called Jack and thought Jacksson was hilarious a good idea.

MarvellousMechanicalMouseOrgan · 01/03/2014 17:56

FabBakerGirl, how do they sound different?

Jackson, definitely. I know one, and he's very nice.

JohnGilpinsWife · 01/03/2014 17:59

Jackson is...OK.

Unless your surname is Jackson, of course.

jonicomelately · 01/03/2014 18:00

I know a Jackson. I really like the name.
Agree with everybody that Jaxon is bloody awful.

haleyalannahxo · 01/03/2014 18:14

Definitely Jackson. Jaxon just looks horrid.

Lighthousekeeping · 01/03/2014 18:17

There's no such thing as Jaxon surely? Jackson is a cool name.

Kri5ty · 02/03/2014 09:03

We were going to use it as OH wanted ds2 to be called Jax (from son's of anarchy lol)
We also toyed with jaxon/Jackson) as I didn't want him to ge just called Jax.
