Names similar to Oliver?

We've just had our favourite boys name used by another family member.

Please can you help us find a similar name or suggest another name you think we may like.

Although I'm a firm believer that no one 'owns' a name, you should use the one that you love, and that suits your baby Grin

Thank you everyone.

We've added Reuben to the list :) I also like Thomas, Harry, Henry and Samuel but these have also been used by either family or friends!

I really like Daniel but dh doesn't.

What do you think of Fraser? This is becoming a favourite.

Here's our 'boy list' we have the same issue, with both William and Oliver having been hijacked by those close by (how inconsiderate Grin) so we've had to go a little further 'out there'

Writing them down, some of them look a little pretentious, but my brother has seven (yes, SEVEN!) children, each with three names, so our choices are somewhat limited!
Also we have not long had Ds1- we're packing them in quickly, and have given him what we consider to be 'the best name ever' so anything else just seems a little... second best!

Oliver is v v popular (number one name in 2008 when we had ours Wink) so I second using it if you like it! I love Henry too. Harry is a nickname for Henry too so you can use either if you pick Henry. (And I like Jacob. For what it's worth...)
