Have spent to long thinking about these names and can't see the wood for the trees ...what do you think?

Yep, Martha is a bit Amish, whereas Marnie is 60s New York.

NinjaKangaroo · 08/02/2014 21:38

Martha. Both aren't particularly to my taste, but Marnie sounds quite dated.

ShadowFall · 08/02/2014 21:46

Martha

Love both.
Were it me I'd go for Marnie I think

somewhereinessex · 08/02/2014 21:52

Martha - much better than Marnie. We know a very cool 10 year old Martha, not dowdy at all.

MrsBungle · 08/02/2014 21:54

I quite like Martha. I really like marnie.

Marcipex · 08/02/2014 23:59

Love Marnie, not keen on Martha tbh. I see her as dowdy too, sorry.

sleepingbeautiful · 09/02/2014 00:08

I vote Marnie. It seems like chic retro, where as Martha makes me think of a kitchen maid or a hen lol.

winterhat · 09/02/2014 10:55

Marnie can be short for Marina, which I also like.

Alisvolatpropiis · 09/02/2014 12:42

Marnie, better of the two. Martha is awful.

Mumof3xx · 09/02/2014 12:45

Marnie

lumpolead · 09/02/2014 15:19

smother · 10/02/2014 22:13

Marnie or Martha both fab. Also like Marcie.

extracrunchy · 10/02/2014 22:14

I love both but would probably go with Marnie?

TamerB · 10/02/2014 22:15

No contest- definitely Martha.

Saharap2 · 11/02/2014 20:16

Martha. I don't think its dowdy. I think its a nice pretty name!

ladyquinoa · 11/02/2014 21:27

Martha is a lovely steady stunning classic name. Marnie is a bit trashy sorry.

ladyquinoa · 11/02/2014 21:28

You could always call her Martha with the nickname marnie

Beamur · 11/02/2014 21:31

Both very lovely - Marnie is a name on the up.

MattBaines · 11/02/2014 21:43

Got to be Martha for me. Classic, lovely name.

BrianTheMole · 11/02/2014 22:39
