I like Tahlia best, gorgeous name... perhaps a bit 'la-la' next to Layla but no big problem. Is that how you spell Tahlia though? Looks wrong to me!

Alexia - not my cuppa tea but perfectly nice.
Willow - I wouldn't use this unless I thought my DD was going to be very long, tall and thin!
Ruby - has reputation of being very popular although I've only met a couple

I'm never sure how to pronounce Tahlia. Is it tah-lee-ya or tah-la or something else entirely?

I really love Willow. so pretty.

Oriunda · 06/02/2014 16:19

I thought it was Thalia? Which is nice. Pronounced Tah-lee-ah.

LadyIsabellaWrotham · 06/02/2014 16:22

Thalia is nice IMO, Tahlia is a mispelling. The other three are very pretty names too.

HaveToWearHeels · 06/02/2014 16:23

Well I have to say Ruby as I have a Ruby, and she is the only one I know. No others at pre school in nearly 2 years !

Finaldeskination1 · 07/02/2014 18:30

Tahlia and layla too close.
Willow.

Will just quickly point out that alexia is the term that's used to describe an adult that has forgotten how to read- so is the name of a disability (kinda like dyslexia etc)

NannyPlumForPM · 07/02/2014 19:16

Oh and my personal preference is willow- but I do love alexia nn lexie :)

BlueStarsAtNight · 07/02/2014 19:37

I think Ruby goes best with your other DC's names

bebbeau · 08/02/2014 10:23

Omg nanny plum really did not know that ! Shock

Thanks for the feedback, willow is prob my fave too x

I was dead set on the name alexia for dd (due in May) but changed my mind once it got pointed out to me Hmm still think the name itself is lovely though!

Misfitless · 08/02/2014 12:26

Willow is beautiful imo.
Don't like any of the others.

badtime · 08/02/2014 13:29

LadyIsabella, Tahlia is a variant spelling of Talia. It is a name of Hebrew origin, and it means 'dew from God'.

It is entirely unrelated to the Greek name 'Thalia'.

Just because you don't know a name, and it is similar to another name does not mean it is 'a mispelling [sic]' (cf. Rihanna, Kara, Neve).

Willow
