"Tree" names!

DH and I are quite taken with names associated with trees - I really loved Willow until my grandad decided to name his new dog that!

So anyway, the other night my hubby comes out with Elmar for a boy, to be shortened to Elm - I just can't decided if I love it or hate it! What do you think? Or any alternatives?

Linden trees smell of semen, that's all I can think of when I hear the name Linden.

I know an Australian called Oak. Not sure how that would work here.
