Zev and Shoshannah. I looked it up recently and found an old thread where some people described it as a how a drunk would say Susannah, nevermind that it's the original version Smile

SecretRed · 21/06/2014 23:59

Genuinely excited then at the thought of a baby katniss.

Disappointed now.

Oops got carried away then , I don't have any regrets though my last Ds was called Beau at first before I realised what a feisty huge thing he was so Beau really didn't suit him

NanaNina · 22/06/2014 01:16

I am absolutely and utterly amazed at some of the outlandish names on here......sorry I don't want to offend anyone, but I am genuinely surprised at so many names I've never heard of and can't pronounce! I had my children over 40 years ago and I'm sure some of the names I've read on this thread were never used in those days, although some of the old names are coming back. We have 3 Arthurs in our road all aged around 3 years.

My two were going to be called Anna Louise and Fiona Catherine but they turned out to be boys!!

DS1 = Carter James Spencer (James DH's middle name, Spencer my DBro name)
DS2 = Sullivan John Timothy (middle names DH dad and my dad)

LadyCybilCrawley · 22/06/2014 02:03

I don't know why we bothered with the lovely traditional old English names we lovingly chose for our children based on decades of tradition, for everyday they are called Chappy and Pea

HmmGrin

trufflehunterthebadger · 22/06/2014 07:10

Katharine Beatrice commonly known as Kitty. She would have been katharine beatrice lydia but DH was adamant that 3 names was too much

DogCalledRudis · 22/06/2014 08:04

Marvin Luke
William Roy
Heath David

They should have been Kevin, Clyde, and Kyle...

Angelto5 · 22/06/2014 08:12

Jasmin and I don't want to give her middle names out. I love it and all the anti comments can bite my flowery named bottom Grin

Angelto5 · 22/06/2014 08:51

I love the name jasmin but as usual my dh vetoed it!!!

Onesleeptillwembley · 22/06/2014 10:52

Thank you 'EatshitDerek'. It's a slight reworking of an old family name. Smile

manicinsomniac · 22/06/2014 10:59

3 daughters aged 11, 7 and 0

Savannah Gabriella Fernanda
Jessica Giovanna Pietra
Xanthe Arabella Rhiannyd

DD1 and 2 are half Brazilian, hence the middle names. DD3 is not so I gave her one Welsh name in memory of my Dad.

Most of these names I absolutely love. It's funny though. If this was a list of suggestions there would be a lot of negative comments (there are some real marmite choices imo - including at least one of my own!) but because these kids actually exist we're all being as nice as pi!

DaisyBug1212 · 22/06/2014 15:48

Tilly May

We love it, suits her down to the ground. Though when shes having a tantrum we call her Tilly Mint as this is what we call a madam up north!
