Darcy or Arwen?

We have got it down to a couple now, Darcy is my fave but we both really like Arwen. What do you think?

Willow is also lovely but possibly like more as a middle name.

Willow and Arwen are lovely.

Not so keen on Darcy but it is a nice name.,

I know one Darcy, but no Arwens. Fwiw, DH was keen on Arwen but whilst I like it it's too associated with LOTR for me. I am really keen on the Welsh name Anwen, though (which means fair, same as Arwen...)

Prefer Willow. If I was made to choose then Arwen over Darcy. Have you considered Willa? I really like Ariadne or Alice which is similar to Arwen.

Also like Luna and Marnie. DH loves Amelie but I'm put off by its popularity a bit. India, Athena and Thea have popped up also.

We're back up to more than a couple again now aren't we?

Thea is lovely (just seen it mentioned on another thread, so must be zeitgeisty) but not keen on the others, sorry.

I really like Darcy.

Arwen and Willow, beautiful names.

Darcy was my front runner for a girl, but really like Arwen too.

How about the Welsh name, Arianwen? If you go with that or Arwen, I wouldn't pick Willow as the middle name - too many Ws.

Willow and Thea are much nicer than either Darcy or Arwen.

Arwen sounds like a hairy goblin from Lord of the Rings and Darcy is a bit naff.

Ooh tough one, I like Darcy and Arwen equally.

Is Willow out of the question as a first name?

I would pick Marnie over Luna.

I was going to suggest Freya but it's proabably as popular as Amelie.
