If that makes any sense!

Not pregnant, just nosey & sparked by the fact that I know 8 Williams under 4 years! We know quite a few children but these are the only named duplicated.

William x 8
Samuel x 3
Joshua x 3
Wilf x 3
Ethan x 2

Matilda x 3
Elizabeth x 3

There is only one name I have come I across twice in all my child groups and that is Violet. Otherwise just one of everything. Seems to be unusual, but might be to do with a vey multicultural populace round my way.

A couple of years ago I taught a class of Issy, Bella, Isobel, Isabelle, Isabella, Ella and Ellie. 'Twas rather confusing!

My DD1 has one of these popular names but in her preschool of 80 children she is the only one. At the time I named her we didn't know of any other children with her name but it has since exploded in popularity. We couldn't know that was going to happen.

I have a name that isn't unusual at all but I NEVER meet people with it. EVER!

My name has popped up a lot! (as in mine, not my children) though still always for boys. Still have memories of being told I had a boys name at school!

Everyone here is called Alex or Emily.

Either that or they have a name that doesn't make it into the top 1000 (Foxglove, anybody?)

Of those aged six & under, I know more than one of the following:
Ollie/Oliver
Harry
Jack
Ethan
Samuel/Sam
Henry
Jude
Alfie (many little boys & assorted cats & dogs)
Evie/Eve & variants
Isobel & variant spellings
Willow
Poppy
Fern/Fearne

My DC are older & they have plenty of friends named Emily, Harry, Ollie (boys & girls), Jack, Sam, Matthew, Hannah & Charlotte.

There are very few names of children that I don't know multiples of but the names most frequently duplicated in my circles for girls appear to be Matilda, Florence, Emilia and Francesca (I know at least 4 or 5 of each). There are way too many other duplicates to mention, (some are quite uncommon which would out me). For boys, I can only think of one or two names which aren't duplicated (and they are very unusual names!)

I know multiples of the following
Amelia
Sophia
William
Isabel
Oliver
Elizabeth
Jack
Think that's it. Some of them have quite wide age ranges. So I know a baby Oliver but also an 11 year old one.

Priya x3
K-C x 2 one boy and one girl
Ethan x 2
Joshua x one million
Maeve x 2
Emmeline x 2
Oliver too many to count. Dd has 3 in her class of 30.
DN has 3 Samuels just in his class.
Both DC have a William and a Will in their class.
Isobel/Isabelle etc, again too many to count.
Evie/Eva/Ava tonnes.
Molly x 2
Maisie x 2
Lucy x 5

There must be more but I can't think now.
