Which do you prefer and why? I can't decide! Thanks.

I love Iris, (as long as middle name/surname doesn't start with H)
Also like Ida & Isla too...

Isla - the others are granny names and not pretty granny names at that.

I don't get why people are so bothered by a name they like being popular. If you like a name then use it.

Mabelandrose · 16/01/2014 20:25

Isla - so popular for babies right now

nevergoogle · 16/01/2014 20:30

Iris.

I love it, but didn't find many people in RL who agreed with me.

ZenNudist · 16/01/2014 20:36

Isla overdone
Iris is lovely & on my list
Ida, no.
How about Irene?

ashtrayheart · 16/01/2014 20:38

I have a 4yo Isla and don't know any others.

thepobblewhohasnotoes · 16/01/2014 20:58

I love Ida, but would wonder if she'd get lots of jokes based on "I'd a ..."

Possibly overthinking though!

ShoeWhore · 16/01/2014 21:03

Iris. Go on, please use it for me, I never got a chance to (3 boys!)

Although obviously an iris is a flower, the name actually comes from the Greek for rainbow.

telsa · 16/01/2014 22:21

Noooooo, not Iris! eyeball associations and frumpiness is all I hear. Ida on the other hand is really lovely and cute and chic. Isla is sweet too, might depend on the surname.
