My dd is 13 and ds 10 and, as it turns out, have two of the most popular names you can imagine for children of their age! I don't know how we managed that because they were not particularly common names when they were born, but 5 years on and they were surrounded by children with the same names at school Confused.

Dh and I have incredibly common names too, I am sure top 5 for the years we were born.

Anyway, if I were to have a baby this month I think I would name a girl Zinnia or Susannah and a boy Jonathan.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 15/01/2014 22:32

I like this game!

Marianne Darcy or Posy Georgiana

Laurence Asher or Rowan Bartholomew

Today anyway!

WhiteHairReally · 15/01/2014 22:34

Hugh and Maud.

They would still work as a sibset with my positively 'grown up' DD 19 and DS 17. Broody alert!

DisappointedHorse · 15/01/2014 22:35

I'd name a girl Meredith and a boy Edgar.

DisappointedHorse · 15/01/2014 22:36

I do also love Rowan and Laurence Remus.

GobbySadcase · 15/01/2014 22:36

Dylan or Siobhan.

WeAreSix · 15/01/2014 22:37

Boy Henry
Girl Martha

Annunziata · 15/01/2014 22:37

I always loved Santino, Chiara and Salvatore.

Starballbunny · 15/01/2014 22:39

Rebecca and James
And I feel your pain. I knew DD1's name was common, but why is every girl born after DD2 called her name too.

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 15/01/2014 22:41

Isaac or Elsie.

GeorgianMumto5 · 15/01/2014 22:43

Harriet (Hattie)
Eifion

Hattie would 'go' with dd and ds' names. Eifion's a bit of a wildcard.

WoodBurnerBabe · 15/01/2014 22:43

Boy would be Dylan Stephen, not sure about a girl. I had 2 girls names I loved, and have 2 daughters with those names!

GeorgianMumto5 · 15/01/2014 22:44

TripTrap those are both truly lovely names. Can I be imaginary godmother, please?

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 15/01/2014 22:45

Lowri and Heini

Tortoise · 15/01/2014 22:45

I'd like twin girls called Willow and Indigo.

Pleasenomorepeppa · 15/01/2014 22:46

Elsie and Ned.

kelper · 15/01/2014 22:47

Francesca if it was a girl
Raife for a boy. My grandad was Ralph pronounced raife. Ralph always reminds me of the Judy Blume book, forever :-/

NightLark · 15/01/2014 22:48

Oooh, I want a Willow too, but such a burden if she turned out not to be ... willow-y...
And a Tamar.
And a Ross.
And a Joseph.

Sigh at being 42 with three kids already...

VworpVworp · 15/01/2014 22:49

Beatrix Greta Melisande
Cecily Margot

Espen Russell
Duncan Oscar

Theo2005 · 15/01/2014 22:49

Grayson or Niah

Shesparkles · 15/01/2014 22:49

Darcy and Alexander, to be known as Xander

OliveHeartfly · 15/01/2014 22:49

Benedict and Martha

DramaAlpaca · 15/01/2014 22:50

Emma for a girl.

Boy's name is harder because we have three boys so have used our favourite names. I've always liked Daniel - it would go well with our other boys' names, but it's not great with our surname.

TheWanderingUterus · 15/01/2014 22:50

Damaris

Reuben

Dd has a very popular name as DH is very much a traditionalist, DS a less popular one as I got my way. I like to think I would have won outright with the third.

sydenhamhiller · 15/01/2014 22:51

Ooooh! Great game. 3 children down, almost used up all our names. Alexander (DH wants 'Ultimo') for a boy, and still quite like Penelope (was vetoed for DD2)...

GeorgianMumto5 · 15/01/2014 22:51

Margaret. I forgot Margaret.

Margot is lovely, as is Cecily, VworpVworp.
