Stuck on girls names!

fuzzyduck234 · 14/01/2014 10:14

Im currently 8 months pregnant so not long to go and me and DH can't agree on a name for new DD. I've never really thought about girls names as i have 4 DS already ranging in age from 10-4, there names are Tom, Will, Harry and Dom they all have MN beginning with A through a family tradition where each smaller family has one letter for all the middle names but I'm completely stumped on girls names!
Thank you in advance

Thank for those suggestions after talking to my DS's over dinner where they asked what their new DS would be called, I asked for their opinions but they all have different favourites!!
DS1 likes: Emma Annabelle
Juliette Athene
But think the name Sophia is too posh, Is it a posh name? And why am i letting my 10 and 7 year olds influence me! Confused

I like Amelia, Ariadne, Abigail for a middle name and I think these first names go well with your DS games:-
Charlotte- Lottie
Sophie
Hetty
Grace
Lucy

bakingtins · 15/01/2014 20:26

I would have Charlotte Alice to go with your boys names.

How about Elizabeth, Lois, Miriam, Eleanor, Evelyn, Hope?

It's never a good idea to involve your DCs. Current suggestions for my DC3 include "slippers" for a girl, and "traffic-light" for a boy Grin

Thank you again! I also love Louisa but my DNeice is called that so that's off the cards! DH has looked over the list and has decided he likes very simple names and not ones he thinks are nice for babies but ridiculous for adults. His favourites are also Emma, Sally and Cecilia and has said he doesn't mind which MN I choose as he will never use it and tbh has lost interest in babies names at number 5!!
My youngest DS asked why we couldn't name the baby 'baby' or 'girlie' as it would be far easier to remember... Oh the joys of bringing 4 boys under 10 into the process of naming a baby girl!
