Shadow names (names for other sex)

What were your children's shadow names?

A shadow name for those who do not know the term is the name that would have been used if your child was the opposite sex

DD1 - Maximillian
DD2 Benjamin
DS Ilona
DD3 Bertram or Søren. (was going to be the 2 names but we would wait and see if he felt like a B or an S and use the other as mn)

DD1 would have been Jack William
DD2 would have been Dillon Michael
DD3 would have been Dillon but undecided on middle name

I only have DDs so no chance of using them. If I were to have a DS with a new parent I think I would pick a new name as it feels strange to think of using a name I picked with exH when the child was somebody elses.

Ds1 would have been Margot Poesie
Ds2 would have been Delphine Viola
If we ever have a girl we may use a variation of those but dh has his heart set on mythological names.

Maryz I have a DS between dd2 &3 He is not called Maximillian or Benjamin. (In fact not even close he is Conrad)

DS1 would have been Catherine (Katy) Elizabeth

DS2 would have been Catherine (Kitty) Elizabeth

DS3 would have been Catherine (Kitty) Elizabeth Charlotte

We aren't having any more DC but when we get a cat she'll be known as Kitty

And as it happens, my shadow name is one of DS2's middle names.

DSs 1 & 2 would have been Sophia and Georgia probably.

DD would have been Eoin, or maybe Oliver
DS would have been Melissa or Leah

But the strange thing is that when we had DS, who is the younger of the two, we didn't even consider those names for him, even though we both love them. Did anyone else find that?

Had B/G DTs first so both names used! DS2 would have been Iris.

DD would have been Jonathan Albert

DS would have been Naomi Aphra.

DD would have been Liam. But after having her she's made friends with a lot of little Liams, so I don't think I'll
be using it.i

Expecting again, dont know what we are having.. If its a boy we will be keeping Rowen, if its a girl we havn't a clue, although i love Naomi i'm not sure if we will use it.. Except i cant think of nethin else i like apart from Isla which is to popular!!

DS2's name was the shadow name for DD1 and DD2 (as he is named after my grandfather).

Most of the names from earlier pregnancies trickled down, some new ones and some old ones discarded. But I created a giant name with DC1 and mostly it just shrank over time.

DS1 would probably have been Stella
DS2 would probably have been Freya or Tabitha

DDs would have been Ross and Alexander.

My shadow name was Hugh but it was relegated to middle name position by the time my younger brother came along.

Ive only had one dd so far. In my head her shadow name was Evan but DH HATES it so in reality there was no boy's name and if she had been male some kind of fight to the death would have ensued in the delivery room.

ds would have been Harriet and dd would have been James :)
