Nia and Noah

My nephews called Noah, dh and I are expecting a girl and like the name Nia. Too similar?

How close are the children likely to be?
Think it should ne ok for cousins.

There'll be nearly 4 years age gap but living within 30 minutes of each other so reasonably close.
Different schools though.

Is Nia a real name? I've never heard of it.

Don't like Noah at all. Quite a faddy name at the moment but I don't think they'll thank their parents for calling them that when they grow up.

They are similar but as they are cousins I don't think it matters at all.

They are both lovely names

Right then, I may have counted wrong but I think that makes 8/2 ok/not ok
I've spoken to SIL and she doesn't mind so think its a go-er

Definitely fine. Not for a brother and sister, but has a very different sound to it, I think and who knows what nicknames they'll get.

Baby - of course it's a real name Confused. It's Welsh.
