Hi, I am wondering if anyone could suggest names to go with Corrina? We are struggling!

Nothing else to add but names ending in "ie" or "y" wont go with our last name.

We like Miranda, Adriana, Merryn and .

No keen on top 50 names as to frequency I hear them but i DO love olivia!

Can anyone suggest another few for us?

i was pondering over this at 12.30 am last night. Not good as now am so pooped!

Thanks

Sorry other names i like are:

Vivienne
Adeline
Adella
Miriam
Adelaide
Eloise

I do love Adeline but not sure how people would pronounce that. I would say it with emphasis on the "line" not "leen".

I'm not keen on Adriana to go with Corrina - a bit of a mouthful.

Out of your choices my favourites are Adelaide or Merryn.

If I was choosing Corrina though, I think I would probably opt for a one-syllable middle name - something like Ruth, Fay etc.

Thanks for your post, those are my favourites too. They will be sibling names.

I know a Corrina - her sister is called Lisa (which is surely quite unusual these days).

Marianne
Violet

Lots of lovely suggestions already which go really well.

How about Renae, Della, Imerie or Marcia?

TKKW · 06/01/2014 18:55

Thanks, great help! Paloma, that's lovely. I'd love to be brave enough.

Would anyone care to comment on how Corrina and Merryn sound together?

I do like Natalia too but is it too "grown up" for a baby and what pet name?

Corrina and Merryn sound really nice together, they just "fit" well.

TKKW · 06/01/2014 20:59

Thanks Snow, I Love Merryn and Corinna too.

I worry that Corinna might be shortened to Corrine by some people or even us and that's too like Merryn.

What do you all think?

What are first impressions of Adelaide? Will people just think of Australia or as a historical/classic name?

First thing I thought of was PearlSmile

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 06/01/2014 23:51

Oh I see! Blush

For some reason, I thought you wanted a middle name [durr].

In that case definitely Adelaide or Merryn. Both are lovely Grin.

BaronessBomburst · 06/01/2014 23:55

I knew a Corinna and an Esther.
