How many Dexters do you know?

Really struggling to find a name for DC2. We already have one DS and his name was in the 300's based on last years baby name stats. Dexter is the one name we both like, it was number 70 last year with 955 babies called it. I just wondered how many Dexters you actually knew?

I know 1 - he's 6 and v cute

I know one, but he's. a cat.

One, age 12ish.

A few dogs and Dex the cat.
No humans.

1. He is 2 years old

Just one. He's about 5.

None in real life, I very nearly named DS Dexter ten years ago though. Still like the name and DS reckons it's cooler than the one I did use of course!

Three - two 2yos at playgroup who will be in the same class at school and one who's parents picked it deliberately to be a very obscure name, which it doesn't appear to be!

It says it all when the only dexters are dogs and serial killers.

None and i loved Dexter as one of my boys names.We didnt call him that.I think its one of those names that seems popular but its not.I have a Dylan where i am it barely dented the baby name 100 but every boy was called Dylan that year.If ,better you like it go for it.Better you go for a name you like than one you dont.Anyway once their born they either look like the name or they dont

none but if I had twins I would seriously be tempted to name them Dexter and Sinister

1. Dexter Fletcher off Press Gang and a border collie. Dexter does sound more like a dog's nsme to mr.
