Matilda Florence

I must say me & DH love it so much, just want another bit of feedback on it, it's such a huge decision & one we don't want to rush into. Will probably be known as Tilly, dd is Molly, Molly & Tilly might be a bit cutesy for some but not me!!!

If you love it then go for it!

Hopefully you won't get negative comments that will put you off. If YOU love a name then go for it, don't be swayed by a bunch of strangers on a forum and regret not choosing a name that you and your DH both love.

My DCs names both start with the same sound, although very different names (if that makes sense). I loved them both separately so refused to let that put me off.

Love them as a combination. Tilly and Molly are sweet together.

manicinsomniac · 14/12/2013 23:03

Lovely name. I prefer Matilda to Tilly but both work well with Molly.

Alisvolatpropiis · 15/12/2013 00:41

It's lovely!

Just the other day I thought how lovely that name combination was, either way round.

Tikkamasala · 15/12/2013 03:05

PartPixie · 15/12/2013 18:22

Very nice. Love Matilda and Tilly is very sweet on a little girl.

GirlWithTheDirtyShirt · 15/12/2013 18:26

I know a Matilda and Molly sibling pair. Matilda goes by Matty though. It's cool, although I'm not big on same initial names.

NoComet · 15/12/2013 18:28

It's lovely, even if Florence will always make me think magic roundabout first.

I love Matilda and DSIS and me have never found having the same initial any problem.

OneMoreThenNoMore · 15/12/2013 18:28

Love Matilda, it was on my name list for both dc shame dh hated it. I also know a little Matilda and she is ace Smile

YummyMummybee · 16/12/2013 00:34

Thanks for all the positive feedback, can't wait to meet her! My only very slight concern was that Molly & Tilly was slightly twee but as I said I love cutesy so its ok for me. Re matching initials, my sister & I have but it never caused us any issues at all growing up.
