I like Alyssa. Eliana looks like a misspelling tbh.

Excited85 · 08/12/2013 15:36

I love Eliana... Was on my list for dd but dh wasn't so keen!

TeaAndFag · 08/12/2013 15:40

Sienna!!! Beautiful

Leeds2 · 08/12/2013 16:19

I like Sienna best, then Alyssa.

LittlePandaBear · 08/12/2013 16:59

I love both Alyssa and Sienna. I think Eliana would get shortened to Ellie and there are lots about, if that matters to you.

IWantToBeADragon · 08/12/2013 17:26

I like the shortenings of Eliana and Alyssa, not sure what Sienna would be shortened too, and that bothers me slightly more than Eliana being an "ellie" or an "elle"

I think Alyssa is forerunner atm, based on here
I love them all though!

Sienna

enderwoman · 08/12/2013 18:41

I wouldn't use Sienna without some connection to the place.

MummyPig24 · 08/12/2013 19:30

Eliana is my favorite of the three.

youarewinning · 08/12/2013 19:34

My DS is friends with an Eliana but she spells it Ellianna. She is called Ellie though by friends.

I like Alyssa.

Tapiocapearl · 08/12/2013 22:37

Eliana is lovely. Classic. Sienna will date. Alyssa is not half as lively as Alice.

Tapiocapearl · 08/12/2013 22:38

Elena

I love Alyssa, i know a really lovely girl called Alyssa. Not keen on Eliana and like Sienna but it's quite popular

hardbeingme · 08/12/2013 23:44

eliana because i have one we do call her ellie or elle as well (and also elliebean) but we picked our kids names specifically because we didn't mind the shortened versions (friend has ryan and craig because she didn't think they could be shortened and then has had all school friends calling them rye and cray since) but she's usually eliana at school

we don't tend to bump into many of them (or any actually) which was the plan plus it was one of the only names we agreed on

Xavielli · 09/12/2013 19:27

I have an Eliana who is known as Nell/ie.

youarewinning wouldn't that just be Pronounced 'Ellie Anna' rather than 'Ellie Ah Na' ?

youarewinning · 09/12/2013 20:07

It is! I didn't realise eliana was pronounced differently Blush

Bowlersarm · 09/12/2013 20:08

Sienna

Totallyunited · 10/12/2013 21:32

My best friend has an Eliana and gets so many lovely comments about what a beautiful name it is. She is often called Eli rather than Ellie which I rather like.

pinkpip100 · 11/12/2013 19:43

Eliana is a beautiful name - I know a 7yo Eliana, I've never heard her name shortened to Ellie etc.

grizzabellia · 13/12/2013 23:06

Eliana is lovely - think it might be a hebrew name? Alyssa sounds made up and there are lots of similar sounding made up names around - Alice is much nicer. I agree would not use Sienna unless for the place (in which case would spell Siena).

OKmum · 13/12/2013 23:30

Eliana, Ellie also lovely as a nn

sleepingbeautiful · 14/12/2013 05:33

I like Alyssa best. It's slightly unusual without being weird, and such a beautiful and useful little flower.
I know a few little Siennas and way too many Ellie variants.
