Popular in the usual sense. Not asking for opinions on any names, just interested in which names are popping up most often. Particularly if you teach in South Wales (live there).

At my school, the most popular name is Mohammed (in all the different spellings).

For girls, Salma, Maryam. Not a Jack or an Emily in sight, and on each class list about 50% of the names are ones I've never seen before.

One of the things that I love about my school.

Alfie, Oliver, James, Charlie, Harry

Olivia, Libby, Grace, Esme
