Sorry can't link on phone. Babycentre have published their top names of the year (well, excluding December obvs) based on 21,000 babies whose details were registered on their site.

Top end is fairly similar to ONS I think but bottom end is quite varied...

DS is top 20 on ONS for Scotland but no mention there

My 2013 Dd is not on the babycentre list.

I'm Gutted that Ivy has risen so fast...I bloody knew it would...doesn't make it any less depressing.

I was interested to see Oscar is top 5 on their list when it was about 16/17 on the ONS list for 2012.

Cl ara btw is 92 on their list but 177 on the ONS.

I'm not on babycentre but this does give an interesting insight into their demographic doesn't it?

I reckon when the ONS list for 2013 comes out next year it won't be quite the same, some names (like Ivy) have risen waaaay to fast!

ClaraBarton · 03/12/2013 14:35

Agree, surely Ivy not 40 places higher than Florence. Strange list really.

UPthefriggin I'm also gutted that Thea has jumped in at no.55! Typical. 2 years ago it was about no.300!
