sibling for Nina and Greta

not pregnant, just getting carried away at DP's willingness to discuss another DC.

We already have Nina and Greta. I can't work out if we have to go for a another two syllable name ending in -a or if we positively shouldn't! My name is also two syllable ending in -a .

I don't mind names "matching" as I figure they are only grouped together for 18 years if that.

On the list in the past was
Rosa
Tamsin (but we don't like Tammy)

Robert (Robin)
John/Johnny/Jonty
Sam
Magnus

We really struggle with coming up with names - took a week after DC2 was born...

Love Robin btw. My next DC is going to be called Robin regardless of gender

Tamsin is lovely too OP, just saw!

I think Rosa and Robin or Jonty would go well with your other children's names. You could also call a girl Robin if you spell it Robyn.

Other ideas. Nina, Greta and:

Nina and Greta are gorgeous names.

Agree that Margot would be nice with them. Also

Martha
Iris
Saskia

Bumpsadaisie · 27/11/2013 13:13

First name that sprung to mind for me was Kurt!

namechangefornames · 27/11/2013 14:12

I like Angus, Astrid, Reuben, Iris (Iris was on the list before actually, we removed it when DP had a patient called Iris with the same surname as the kids, seemed a bit creepy - she wasn't a nice patient!)

I really like Penelope (Penny) but my dad's girlfriend is called Penny. Wouldn't be a good move.

Jack springs to mind, nice sort of full stop at the end of a list of names. Jayne, Ben, James

JimmieBimmie · 27/11/2013 14:23

Rosaline
Rosalind

Hugo
Kester

NightLark · 27/11/2013 14:25

Tamar (so wish I'd called DD2 Tamar)

AndWhenYouGetThere · 27/11/2013 14:28

I'd warn against Margot with Greta - seems like you're trying to honour a Margaret with 2 daughters (so Nina seems left out).

Umpire · 28/11/2013 22:23

Mmargot and Greta no both forms of margaret.

Lois
Dulcie

Umpire · 28/11/2013 22:26

Love Johny.

WhispersOfWickedness · 28/11/2013 22:34

I have a Rosa, so am obviously biased towards that one Grin
It does go really well with Nina and Greta though Smile
How about Linus for a boy? That was top of my list for DC2 but was a DD Smile

BikeRunSki · 28/11/2013 22:35

Otto

Lola

reelingintheyears · 28/11/2013 22:38
