Hiya what does everyone think of Phoebe Olivia possibly Phoebe Olivia June (H 2 syllable surname). Not in love with the name June but it's my nans name so I'd like my first daughter to have it.

Thanks x

did your nan have a middle name you could choose if you don't like June?

sandfrog · 24/11/2013 20:33

Phoebe and Olivia are nice names, but put together have lots of "ee". PhEEbEE OlivEEa. But Phoebe June Olivia would go well.

Thanks for your reply's.
My nan is still alive Grin her middle name is Patricia but I'm def not using that lol.

her maiden name then?

justhayley · 25/11/2013 07:49

Nope, her maiden name is the same as a very high profile child killer so think I'll give that a miss. I'm ok to use June. It wouldn't be a name that I would choose if my nan was called something else but means something to me & my nan will cry for a week - not that I'm in the habit of making old ladies cry lol

I absolutely love it.

I do agree that Phoebe June Olivia flows a bit more easily, though.

mathanxiety · 27/11/2013 03:42

I like Phoebe Olivia June. The long e sound in Olivia is a lot shorter than the one in Phoebe. I think June finishes the three names off very well, with one syllable.

mathanxiety · 27/11/2013 03:43

Actually the EE sound in Olivia is more of a glide into IYA.

Thanks ladies. Since posting this I have found out I'm expecting twins GrinGrin so lots of name combinations to think of. This one is the only one I have so far!

Twins Grin. How exciting, congratulations.
Mine are 18 months - I promise they are an absolute gift and worth every second

Sounds like you're trying too hard. Pick one or the other but they are both lovely names.
