Opinions on Oscar?

We have found out we are having a girl & have chosen Matilda Florence after much angst!!! We want a boys name just in case they made a mistake on the gender scan which happened to my friend last week(was told boy all along & out popped a little gir!!!)
Our boys name was always Oscar Patrick what do you think?

Oscar was on our list for dc4, dh and I had both loved it for years but then is suddenly became very popular and we both lost any passion for it.

So we now have a 6 month old Hugo.

Oscar is a great name

But how shocking/amazing for your friend! How could the hospital mistake a boy for a girl? I know scans aren't 100% but I thought that they usually get it wrong the other way round ie if boys bits were hidden from view, but to see boys bits when they aren't there.... that's really surprising! What did your friend say!?

I don't like Oscar/Ossie much, sorry.

I like it but the two Oscars I know are dogs... Not sure about Patrick tbh

I like MF, but prefer FM - just think it flows better.
