If I wanted to name a girl after my grandma would I use her real name or the name she used? ( would be Annie or Nancy and would be used as a middle name)

Either I think. My grandfather was called Thomas but known as Arthur (his middle name)

We went with Thomas for several reasons but the main one was that we preferre it of the two!

Which ever you prefer.

I would probably use the name she was known by.

I think go with the name you like best. My Nan's name was Margaret but everyone called her Megan so I would use the one that worked best with the chosen first name.
