I've avoided a or ah ending names in case you don't want to be too matchy, otherwise how about:

This thread has been incredibly helpful so thank you for all the replies.

Niamh is lovely. As is Matilda, which was a name we have seriously considered. I just love the nicknames Tilly and Mattie.

However, I think we may settle on Esmée.

What do you all think? :)

floatyflo · 15/11/2013 11:04

Aoife looks lovely written down, but how do you pronounce it??

OP posts:
Selks · 15/11/2013 11:07

Celie

(Pronounce see-lee)

Selks · 15/11/2013 11:08

Like Esmee. Isn't it normally spelt Esme?

FortyFacedFuckers · 15/11/2013 11:11

The Noah I know has a sister called Kayla

floatyflo · 15/11/2013 11:11

Yes Selks it does tend to be spelt like that, but Esmée is the feminine form and Esmé is actually the male form in French. The same with Renée and René.

Not that it hugley matters but I feel like I should kinda follow the rules :)

jellybelly18 · 15/11/2013 11:13
