Me again keep changing our minds re middle name!!! 100% decided on Daisy, family name plus we love it! Thought we had decided on Daisy Georgina but now not so sure! Options are
Daisy Florence
Daisy Ophelia (love, love love!!!!) Dh thinks it pretentious???
Daisy Matilda
Daisy Georgina(family)
Daisy Georgia(family)
Daisy Nora(family)
Daisy Eleanora(family)

Thanks for your opinion xxxx

I like Daisy Ophelia the best :-)

mistlethrush · 12/11/2013 14:59

i think Daisy Dilemma has a certain ring about it...

YummyMummybee · 12/11/2013 15:04

My too mistlethrush, Dh certainly thinks so! He's at his wits end with all my options!

I think Daisy Ophelia has a nice ring to it. Middle names are totally allowed to be pretentious!

AnythingNotEverything · 12/11/2013 15:58

Daisy Ophelia! Just lovely and as PP said, middle names can be pretentious!

Daisy Georgina

Cataline · 12/11/2013 17:39

I love them all except Georgia (which is still a very nice name!)
Really love Ophelia though!

HyvaPaiva · 12/11/2013 17:41

Daisy Georgina

ShellyF · 12/11/2013 17:42

Ophelia seems to "fit".

YummyMummybee · 12/11/2013 20:37

Looks like Daisy Ophelia & Daisy Georgina are favourites so far, keep the opinions coming!!! X

Any except Daisy Nora. I'm not sure Nora should be a middle name for anything ending in -y (makes me think Bloody Nora).

Londongirl84 · 12/11/2013 20:43

I love Ophelia but my DH also thinks it's pretentious. How funny. Like Daisy Ophelia the most but also like Daisy Eleonora.

OBface · 12/11/2013 20:45

My DD is Ophelia, don't see it as pretentious at all. If you like it go for it!

PolyesterBride · 12/11/2013 20:50

Daisy georgina. That's really nice. I'd be embarrassed to say Daisy Ophelia in the doctors or wherever!

OBface · 13/11/2013 09:41

Just out of interest, why would you be embarrassed to say Daisy Ophelia?

InfiniteJest · 13/11/2013 09:59

Daisy Ophelia! I also asked DH for a man's opinion and he said Daisy Ophelia or Daisy Matilda, but 'definitely not Daisy Nora!'

tinypumpkin · 13/11/2013 10:01

My DD is Ophelia. It's fine (we are not at all posh). I worried about the pretentious thing too but so not an issue.

Cocolikeschocolate · 13/11/2013 16:38

Daisy Ophelia - so feminine and adventurous ... not pretentious at all!

orangepudding · 13/11/2013 16:40

Not Daisy Nora, sounds awful.

Like the rest!

YummyMummybee · 13/11/2013 19:28

Thanks for all the replies, Daisy Ophelia is rather fabulous alright! Only other problem is now Dh gas decided he doesn't like Daisy & loves Matilda.. We had this discussion a few weeks ago & I mentioned it on a previous thread but I managed to sway him to Daisy again. He said I choose Dd1(Molly) now he wants s say too!!! Love Matilda but think Matilda/Tilly & Molly too matchy & Daisy is probably less commonly used?

OP posts:
MarysDressSways · 13/11/2013 19:57

Yes Tilly and Molly is a little twee. Daisy is lovely though.

Daisy Matilda is beautiful and has both your faves!

Meringue33 · 13/11/2013 20:02

Hate Ophelia - she drowns herself fgs :)

Love all the others, especially Matilda

YummyMummybee · 13/11/2013 20:06

Thanks gor the replies, so confused re Daisy & Matilda posted another thread! Mary I thought about Daisy Matilda but I didn't want to waste Matilda on a middle name in case I have another girl!!! I'm completely over thinking this!!!

OBface · 13/11/2013 21:32

Ridiculous argument against Ophelia Meringue, lots of names have previous 'owners' with less than positive histories. And Hamlet is only fiction after all!
