6 weeks and 3 days names decided.....

I'm worried that I have decided too early but after nearly three years ttc we have had a lot of time to consider names. I hope I'm not jinxing it, this little bean is so precious to me!

So the names are....

Asa Samuel or Asa Samson (middle name after my df)

Juno Birdy or Juno Violet Birdy (Birdy after my gran aunt)

Any opinions?

I love them - original and unique to you, but not outlandish. I love Asa and Birdy.

Love Asa Samson! Asa was on my list but went for something else, like Juno dh does not.

I prefer your girls name with Violet in, although Juno leaves me cold for some reason.

Juno is one of my favourite names and Asa Samson is splendid.

Personally I much prefer Asa Samuel to Asa Samson, if only because my days in Sunday School left me thinking that Samson was a bit of a twunt (he tied foxes' tails together and set them on fire, ffs!).

"Try hard" oh yeah that is me .....well in fairness of course I am going to try hard to pick a name for a child, its something they will have for the rest of their life! So yep I confess I am proud to be try hard

Juno....utterly envious if you have a girl. Love it. In fact trying to talk DH round for DC3 just so I can maybe have a Juno.

I love your style and would be pleased to have either of those as my name. Cute, but will grow with the child and flexible too. I don't think they're try-hard at all! They both sound like smart, well rounded, happy people. Hope for twins so you can use both names straight away?

OddFrog there certainly is a chance of twins as it is a clomid pregnancy plus twins run in my mothers family, in fact she is a fraternal twin!

Samson? It didn't go very well for him in the bible and if he grows up a bit weedy its not going to suit him.
