Lovely Nickname for Gabriella

My lovely little lady is almost 4 months now, Gabriella Rose. We are continually being asked whether we are ok with nicknames and if so, what we would prefer for it to be. We make it clear that we want her to be known as / referred to as Gabriella generally but are open to her being called a nickname when speaking to her directly ...if that makes sense!...but we just can't settle on a nickname. When choosing her name we thought we'd be ok with Gabby but would prefer Bree but now I'm not so sure. She is such a delicate little thing that gabby seems a bit hard and my sister says Bree is too much like Brie..lol
What do you think of Gabi? We've been referring to her in emails and texts as G..is that an ok nickname do you think? What about Bella or Elle or Bea? Not keen on Ella either. Can you think of any other nice sounding nicknames? Thank you for your inspiration xx

I love the name GiGi and would use that as a nickname. I would pronounce it the French way though rather than as Gee Gee!

I like Bea too!

Just stick with G or Gi if you need it to be longer that's one that's naturally occurred.
I like G, it's better than any of the cutesy other options and sounds cooler for when she's older

My dd is Gabriella and we always call her gabs. This just happened organically because it fits her personality. We pplanned to call her Ella before she was born but it didn't suit her.

some people do call her big g though (due to her personality not her size!) or the brilliant one!

Gaby

You'll find most people will naturally just shorten the start of her name. I know a gabriella and a gabrielle - Gabby and Gabs. My BIL is Gabriel and is is Gabes.

I like Bea but can't see the link to her name and so unless you only ever call her Bea (which is a shame given that she has such a pretty name) people will revert to gabs or gabby.
