Need some inspiration for boys names

We already have a Theodore.

DP has vetoed all my suggestions so far - Alexander, Hector and Jude.

He likes William (family name), I like Bill but William is top 10 and maybe too common.

Inspiration for not trendy, less usual, but "proper" names would be gratefully received Smile

We have a Quentin. Or how about Dominic, Patrick or Clement?

BikeRunSki · 19/10/2013 08:40

I know the biblical Jonah was not very lucky, but Jonah is also the name of my baby nephew who is very sweet and happy, and a much wanted third and brother to two girls so it has a positive connection for me.

Thanks all, still nothing jumping out at me though I do like Caspar and Jasper. Theodore was the only name we could agree on last time so starting to doubt we'll find another one!

I know a Jonah - it's not unlucky. Names do not confer meaning or symbolism on children.

NewbieMcNewbie · 19/10/2013 20:48

Btw, I like your suggestions. Don't like William - ubiquitous now.

How about Leo, Max, Miles, Arthur?
