DH has suggested Anders & Nate, what else might he like?

Bit of background: My DH have mentioned before isn't very helpful at making any name suggestions only name put forward was James for DS.
A few days I pointed to bump and said 'Jamie' to my utter surprise he said I was thinking Nate or Anders Shock

Oddly I had already mentioned Alexander but he dismissed it. Said I had no problem with Anders as nn but it would have to be Alexander.

I don't really like Nate or Nathanial.

What else might DH like? Nothing starting with a 'M' please.

Thanks

Thank you for the suggestions.. Hector, Rufus and Xander are the only one really which we like. In fact I don't really like Rufus or Hector Wink but they are the best ones.

I know a Swedish Anders - it's a popular boys name in Scandinavia. I like it.

How about these alternatives
Andreas
Xavier
Quentin
Reuben
Clement

Nate was on our short list until we found out bump is pink. So... The other names on our list were ;
Harrison
Max
Adam

TheBookofRuth · 16/10/2013 15:54

He's trying to name your DS after characters in the Dragon Age series of computer games. This gives you other options of Alistair, Carver, Sebastian, Zevran, Fenris and er, Ogrem.

Hugo

We had Nate on our list. The other names were:

Evan

Any good?

I thought anders was usually pronounced ah-ners, not and-ers, so not really a nickname for Alexander? It is Scandinavian.

daughterofafarmer · 17/10/2013 11:39

Anders in indeed Scandinavian, oddly we aren't Grin

I know 1 Alexander who is Ander, so I think that might work for us.

Sadly none of your kind suggestions quite right Sad Blush thank you through
