DH has suggested Anders & Nate, what else might he like?

Bit of background: My DH have mentioned before isn't very helpful at making any name suggestions only name put forward was James for DS.
A few days I pointed to bump and said 'Jamie' to my utter surprise he said I was thinking Nate or Anders

Oddly I had already mentioned Alexander but he dismissed it. Said I had no problem with Anders as nn but it would have to be Alexander.

I don't really like Nate or Nathanial.

What else might DH like? Nothing starting with a 'M' please.

Thank you for the suggestions.. Hector, Rufus and Xander are the only one really which we like. In fact I don't really like Rufus or Hector but they are the best ones.

I know a Swedish Anders - it's a popular boys name in Scandinavia. I like it.

I thought anders was usually pronounced ah-ners, not and-ers, so not really a nickname for Alexander? It is Scandinavian.
