Hadley? Girls or boys name?

Having a dispute with my parnter, seen the name Hadley quite unusual, girls name on one site and boys name on another... What do you prefer it as?

I've only known one, a man.

Neither, its an area of Telford. Or if you spell it Hadleigh, a nice town in Suffolk.

Hadley is a female character in True Blood, I've not heard the name before or since.

I know it's used in America quite a bit for girls, never heard it on a boy.

I would say it's like Taylor, in that it could be used for either. I wouldn't assume either if I heard somebody say the name out loud.

Thanks guys. It's not a name id like to call my child it has just been bugging me and kind of jumped out at me...
