Florence, Daisy or Poppy to suit DDs name?

Hi I posted a thread already on quaint girls names, these are the ones we absolutely love!!! So DD is Molly, our middle name is going to be Nora(family name which we also love)
so
Florence Nora & Molly
Daisy Nora & Molly
Poppy Nora & Molly,
The middle name will be seldom used so don't let that sway your judgement, which sounds best with Molly. Btw, I know Molly & Poppy/Daisy will be overly cutsie for some MN's but I adore cutesey! I have a very mature, opposite of cute boring, harsh name & always wanted a cute, fun name(am 34 now & still haven't grown into my name!!)

Florence is a good name. Not so keen on the others, although I had family pets called daisy and poppy, which sways my judgement somewhat.

Another vote for Florence. Wish I'd had the courage to call DD Florence really.

I had a cat called Daisy, so that rules Daisy out for me, and Poppy is just too twee.

Molly is lovely though :)

LackaDAISYcal · 12/10/2013 23:49

though tbh I would go with the family name of Nora. Love it!

Tikkamasala · 13/10/2013 01:36

Florence as the others a bit cutesy with Molly, also just like Florence best of the three and Florence Nora is super!

nooka · 13/10/2013 03:03

For me Molly and Daisy/Poppy is a bit too matchy, especially Poppy. Also I think it is more important that the first and second name go together than whether the first name goes with the sister's name.

Eleanor/Nora is the best of all the names :)

mathanxiety · 13/10/2013 07:04

I posted on your other thread Smile

I think it should be Nora Florence. Somewhere in the middle of Florence Nora I hear the word 'snorer'.

Daisy and Poppy are too twee (as well as cutesy and matchy with Molly) as first names but would be nice as mns with Nora as a first name.

Fifibluebell · 13/10/2013 07:12

I think Nora Florence sounds absolutely amazing prefer that to the other way round

Poppy and Molly are a bit samey for me

Daisy Nora sounds lovely

Daisy and Molly are a bit similar but don't mind that so much

sillyoldfool · 13/10/2013 07:15

I love Nora Florence.
Definitely Florence out of the three. I had a great aunt called Florence, always known as florrie, lovely name.

tumbletumble · 13/10/2013 07:16

I love Poppy but I don't think it goes well with either Nora or Molly, sorry!

yeghoulsandlittledevils · 13/10/2013 07:19

I prefer Florence. I also agree that Nora Florence sounds better, as Florence Nora doesn't quite go.

Between Daisy and Poppy, I prefer Daisy as I have come across a prevalence of Poppies.

They're all lovely names but I think Daisy Nora sounds the best combination.

Iwaswatchingthat · 13/10/2013 08:51

Molly and Florence

BlueStarsAtNight · 13/10/2013 09:14

I like Daisy Nora best with Molly. It is quite cutesy but both are lovely names! If you went with Dlorence, you might end up with Florrie as nn which almost rhymes with Molly, I wouldn't like that.

DitsyDonkey · 13/10/2013 11:04

I prefer Daisy with Molly

Notsoyummymummy1 · 13/10/2013 11:28

Florence definitely - remember they're going to be adults one day!

ginzillas · 13/10/2013 11:45

Love Nora with Molly. Would you definitely not consider it?
Not as keen on Florence. Daisy and Poppy both sweet but I don't think two names ending in 'ie'/'y' sound go very well. They're a bit much with Molly IMO.

elcranko · 13/10/2013 14:39

I like Molly & Daisy best.

TidyDancer · 13/10/2013 15:09

Molly and Daisy sound nicest together. That said, Daisy Nora slips into being a single name when you say it out loud so you might want to consider that. Florence Nora and Poppy Nora don't really flow too well.

I really like Daisy and Poppy but neither sound like adult names to me.

impatientlywaiting · 13/10/2013 18:06

I like Poppy with Molly, all lovely names though.

Three Poppies in the new school year intake

CharlieBoo · 13/10/2013 20:11

Daisy

nooka · 13/10/2013 21:50

Nora on it's own sounds odd as a part of a full name to me. Eleanor Florence is very elegant, and Nora a cute nn that meets the OPs criteria (although it's just as likely that the dd will want a more formal/elegant name as she herself wanted a cute one - there are significant advantages to flexibility!). Likewise Florence Eleanor, although on reflection I don't see Florence as cutesy - I guess the cutsey nn would be Florrie?

My dd wanted to be called Poppy when she was little. She has a relatively cutsie nn, but at high school has opted to use her longer more formal name.

telsa · 14/10/2013 08:40

Florence Nora scans the best, though it has a trace, in my weird ears, of flippin' Nora....

Ihatepeas · 14/10/2013 10:49

Molly and Florence is lovely but Molly and Nora is amazing!! Poppy and Daisy are too similar to Molly in my opinion.

Mim78 · 14/10/2013 17:13

I like Florence
