For a girl we have came up with
Luella
Shia
Saskia
Mercy (I love it but DH not so keen!)
Eva

Which one's do you like/ would you choose? This is our first so we are clueless about what is popular and cool and what to avoid!

Luella - half of me likes it and half of me thinks it sounds a bit hillbilly
Shia - reminds me of that twatty actor Shia La Beouf
Saskia - lovely name, quite grown up but that's a good thing in my book
Mercy - a bit too hellfire and brimstone for me.
Eva - lovely name but there are a lot of them around.

Luella - American and horrible
Shia - Is this a name? NN will be "shit" for sure
Saskia - I like this the bast
Mercy - No
Eva - My second choice

I really like Eva and think Saskia is quite pretty too but I don't like any of the others.

Luella - As a female given name yet sound sweet, charming and skinny.
Shia - Shia is a nice name but yet sound very similar.
Saskia - I think it is really beautiful and personal
Mercy - It is a pretty standard virtue name like Hope
Eva - I love the name. It sound very pretty and adroble.

I'm afraid I don't like the others. How do you pronounce Shia? The same as Labeouf?

Eva is very trendy and will probably sound dated soon.

Luella, Shia, Marcy and Saskia are all lovely, feminine names that aren't overused. Choose the one that goes best with your surname and that you and your dh love best!

Now Marcy I like.

Luella and Shia are dreadful/hillbilly.
